Sims Sealing will work with your schedule to get the project done with as little inconvenience to you as possible! Here is how the typical project will be completed. Please remember, each sealcoating project is different and some require alternate procedures. Please understand that the weather plays a big part in what day we are able to do the project. If we do not feel that the sealcoat has time to properly seal and cure before rain we will ask to reschedule. This ensures the highest quality product with the longest life for our customers.
1. Once Sims Sealing has received a call/email from you we will schedule a time for us to come look at the project and you will receive a quote for the price that day.
2. Next, we will schedule a day that works for you to come complete the project.
3. We start out by cleaning the entire driveway/parking lot and applying oil stain treatment as necessary.
4. Next we will edge the driveway/parking lot as needed and finish up with any other prep work before sealcoating begins.
5. The next step is to start sealcoating! Once we are done sealcoating we will tape the driveway off so that no unwanted foot or car traffic is on the wet driveway.
6. We ask that you keep all foot traffic off of the driveway for 24 hours and all car traffic off for 48 hours. During the fall when the weather has cooled down we may ask for a longer period of no car traffic to ensure maximum curing of the sealcoat.
Sims Sealing is here for you after the project is completed for any questions or concerns. Just give us a call and we will be happy to help!
At Sims Sealing we feel that the best compliment we can receive is a referral from one of our past clients. We work hard to be the your first choice in a asphalt contractor and we appreciate your business and referrals!
